* TV sizes and dimensions vary. Uses listed are a general indicator and do not apply to all TV's. |
| Sizing a Lift The rule of thumb for sizing a lift is that the overall width of the lift should be at least 4.5" wider than the width of your TV. The 4.5" accomodates the width of our gear racks and clearances between the gear racks, the inner box, and the TV. | |
| Available travel should be at least 1" more than the height of the TV. The depth of the TV is not an important consideration in initial sizing because your TV (and inner box) may overhang our motorized platform. The xray drawings on the right, and the photos of a cabinet being assembled below, should give you an understanding of how the lifting device operates within cabinetry. LIFT-TECH manufactures the lifting devices and control systems. We do not manufacture furniture.
| |
| Installation LIFT-TECH provides the lifting device. Your cabinetmaker completes the project. A motorized lift, properly sized for your television, is installed in the outer cabinet. The motorized platform of the LIFT-TECH lift travels up and down the gear racks that are secured to the cabinet sidewalls. | |
| An inner box is constructed to hold the television and support the cabinet top. The inner box is secured to the motorized lifting platform that moves by remote control. Note: The open cabinet doors are for demonstration purposes only. For safety reasons, it is recommended that cabinet doors be non-operative and for decorative purposes only. | |
