Conceal, reveal and swivel your TV with quiet precision
The LT-100-S Series of motorized up/down/swivel lifts is typically used for lifting and swivelling conventional TV's by remote control. The most frequent use of this device is in an "end-of-bed" TV cabinet. The motorized swivel facilitates viewing the TV from bed, as well as from a seating area across the room. Lifts with the motorized swivel feature are also used to allow viewing the TV from different rooms, and different seating areas within the same room.
The LT-100-S Series features all steel, welded construction with remarkably stable rack and pinion operation. No synthetic gears to deteriorate, no maintenance required. Swivel Lifts Solve Viewing Angle Problems A motorized swivel on your raise/lower lift allows you to view the TV from different seating centers in the room, and solves difficult TV placement situations. This feature is particularly useful in end-of-bed TV cabinets to allow for viewing from the bed or from the seating area at the other side of the room.
The swivel action is initiated with the LIFT-TECH remote control, which has a unique memory feature that raises and swivels the TV to the last "remembered" position. This lift will swivel up to 180 degrees to the right or to the left, unless you choose to limit the maximum range. Controls include a safety feature that prevents lowering unless the swivel is centered.
Controls available include radio remote control, and low voltage/contact closure control interface to tie-in to your home automation system.
This lift is also available with a manual swivel.
| Sizing a Lift The rule of thumb for sizing a lift is that the overall width of the lift should be at least 4.5" wider than the width of your TV. The 4.5" accomodates the width of our gear racks and clearances between the gear racks, the inner box, and the TV. Available travel should be at least 2.5" more than the height of the TV. The depth of the TV is not an important consideration in initial sizing because your TV (and inner box) may overhang our motorized platform. When designing the cabinet, it is important to build the outer cabinet to a height that will allow the swivel plate at the top of the lift to rotate freely, above the upper edge of the outer cabinet. |
| Controls
LIFT-TECH offers state-of-the-art controls for all our lifting devices. The control for our swivel lifts includes a four button remote to command "up," "down," "swivel left," and "swivel right."
