| LT-200-S Series Motorized Up/Down/Swivel Plasma Lifts |
| Conceal, reveal and swivel your Plasma with quiet precision The LT-200-S Series of motorized up/down/swivel lifts is typically used for lifting and swivelling Plasma TV's by remote control. The most frequent use of this device is in an "end-of-bed" TV cabinet. The motorized swivel facilitates viewing the TV from bed, as well as from a seating area across the room. Lifts with the motorized swivel feature are also used to allow viewing the TV from different rooms, and different seating areas within the same room. The LT-200-S Series features all steel, welded construction with remarkably stable rack and pinion operation. No synthetic gears to deteriorate, no maintenance required. Backed by a three year limited warranty. Our state-of-the-art control systems, the most advanced in the industry, allow for control by radio remote, infrared remote, and by low voltage/contact closure control interface with a home automation system. |

Swivel Lifts Solve Viewing Angle Problems
A motorized swivel on your raise/lower lift allows you to view the TV from different seating centers in the room, and solves difficult TV placement situations. This feature is particularly useful in end-of-bed TV cabinets to allow for viewing from the bed or from the seating area at the other side of the room.
The swivel action is initiated with the LIFT-TECH remote control, which has two modes of operation: Press the up button and the lift raises and remains in the center until commanded to swivel, or program the unique memory feature that raises and swivels the TV to the last "remembered" position. This lift will swivel up to 180 degrees to the right or to the left, unless you choose to limit the maximum range. Controls include a safety feature that prevents lowering unless the swivel is centered.
Controls available include radio remote control, infrared remote control, and low voltage/contact closure control interface to tie-in to your home automation system. | Sizing a Lift
The "rule of thumb" for sizing an up/down/swivel lift is that the lift must be at least 8.5" higher than the height of the plasma or LCD television, in order to allow the lift's swivel plate to clear the cabinet top and swivel freely.
If executing a "box within a box" project, optimally the width of the lift should be at least 5.5" wider than the width of the plasma or LCD. Using our optional backplate, the width of the lift should be at lest 3.5" wider than the width of the plasma or LCD.
Typically, the plasma or LCD is mounted to the inner back wall of the inner box or to our optional backplate, using a wall mount bracket that is available from the TV's manufacturer. It is recommended that a static (non-tilting) wall mount bracket be used.
|
| Backplate Option This lift is also available with an optional backplate. The backplate option allows the Plasma TV to raise and lower without the use of an inner box. This feature highlights the thin depth of the Plasma TV. A sturdy assembly raises from the back of the lift platform for mounting the Plasma TV directly to the backplate, with the TV manufacturer's wall mount bracket. "Legs" extend forward from the top of the backplate to securely support the cabinet top with dowels or velcro. | |
| If the backplate will be visible due to the way the cabinet is positioned in the room, the cabinetmaker typically applies veneer, paints or stains it to match the cabinetry. Use of the backplate option provides a more high-tech appearance than the traditional "box within a box" cabinet design |
| Controls
LIFT-TECH offers state-of-the-art controls for all our lifting devices. The control for our swivel lifts includes a four button remote to command "up," "down," "swivel left," and "swivel right."

Should less than 180 degrees of travel be desired for the swivel, due to proximity to a wall or other factor, our controller is readily programmable to limit the swivel range. |
