LT-325 Concealed Panel Lift - Conceal Your TV Above Your Fireplace |
An innovative solution to concealing a Plasma screen.
The LIFT-TECH Concealed Panel Lift was designed to quietly and precisely move a painting, mirror or panel vertically or to the side, to expose a TV concealed in a niche, usually above a fireplace.
Each Concealed Panel Lift is custom built to specifications. Critical sizing information includes the inside dimensions of the niche (width, height, depth), the size of the panel (painting or mirror) being moved, and the weight of the payload.
The LIFT-TECH mechanism is housed in the niche. For vertical travel, as shown above, the mechanism is located above the TV and is 10.5" high, 6" deep and will extend the entire width of the niche. For horizontal travel devices, as shown below, the mechanism is located at the side of the TV and is 10.5" wide, 6" deep and extends the entire height of the niche.
A steel frame, slightly smaller than the opening of the niche extends outside the niche. The painting, mirror or panel will be attached to this framework. A clearance of 1/4" to 1/2" between the frame and the wall is needed to ensure that the frame does not touch the wall during travel.
This mechanism utilizes the same high quality tubular motor that is the basis of all of LIFT-TECH's lifting devices. Webbed strapping raises and lowers the payload in conjunction with the rotation of an axel driven by the tubular motor for vertical travel models. Horizontal travel is driven by a rack and pinion process.
